‘Come and meet the new committee at our monthly meeting on Thursday 20 March, at the Casa de Cultura, Denia. 10:30 for 11:00am.

Our speaker for the month is Catherine Belsey, a local chiropractor.

What are your interests? We are looking to start some new activity groups and would welcome participation from new as well as existing members. Our weekly timetable already includes Bridge, Ballroom Dancing, Chess, Canasta, Petanque, Play reading, Racquetball and Rummikubs to name but a few. The much awaited La Siesta park in Torrevieja opened on Saturday, with many people attending the event to check out some of the leisure and pleasure facilities now available in this popular area of Torrevieja. The La Siesta park features all kinds of sports pitches, for football, basketball, hockey, and more, as well as the largest paved pump track in the world, according to the town hall. Torrevieja Pump Track Grand Opening
It's been a long time coming, but the La Siesta Skate Park is due to open this week with the inauguration set for Saturday 16 March at 11:00 a.m. The park contains many different facilities for different sports modalities, and there's seating around the entire area.
