Last Sunday saw the sixth annual

Last Sunday saw the sixth annual "Artantics" Student Art Exhibition held at the Algorfa Bar & Restaurant. There was a tremendous turnout of Students, guests and the general public.

Once again the quality and variety of the work on display was applauded by everyone. As a result of the raffle and bric-a-brac contributions the group were pleased to be able to present 225€ to the local dog charity, S.A.T. Graham Strachan, the Groups’ Tutor can be seen presenting the money to Dave Moore, the President of S.A.T.

The much awaited La Siesta park in Torrevieja opened on Saturday, with many people attending the event to check out some of the leisure and pleasure facilities now available in this popular area of Torrevieja. The La Siesta park features all kinds of sports pitches, for football, basketball, hockey, and more, as well as the largest paved pump track in the world, according to the town hall. Torrevieja Pump Track Grand Opening
It's been a long time coming, but the La Siesta Skate Park is due to open this week with the inauguration set for Saturday 16 March at 11:00 a.m. The park contains many different facilities for different sports modalities, and there's seating around the entire area.
