A new edition of the La Vila International Benidorm Sevens was held in Spain last weekend on the Villajoyosa Rugby Stadium.
While the Saturday was marked by heavy rains (but the games started with British punctuality) on Sunday we saw participants contesting the latter stages. The Final was between Ecosse (Scotland ) who won the Gold Cup after beating Kazakhstan 21-0 .
The maximum championship trophy went to the Highlands thanks to the explosion and tactical understanding of their players, but does not detract from the proposal shown by the other teams . The combined Kazakhstan, old friends by choosing La Vila as a center for preparing international tours, brought touches of progressive evolution as combined before his next tournament in Rome.
Israel shocked by his physical condition while Kidwelly ( Wales) emphasized the fluidity and connectivity of the ball. Denmark should be mentioned on their cohesion in the tactical approach and spectacular incursions speed of some of its leading figures.
Regarding the Spanish participation, Rugby Club La Vila participated with a background full of some of the new jonenses promises, standing up to big teams participating, which gives much more credit to the efforts made by the hosts. Juan Ignacio Vinaches , Juan Vicente Llorca , Leo Bouin , Pedro Santamaria , Axel Julián Suárez , Victor Izard and Renato Trandafir are some of those players that will have everyone talking in the future.
The Elche CRU was also true to his appointment with the International Seven, demonstrating their good work in the field and attesting to the great relationship between the club Elche and Villajoyosa.
