Around a thousand fans protested at the Tax Office on Friday

The woes continue for Real Murcia as the Segunda outfit has until Thursday to complete their registration for the coming season with the League Authorities.

The need to prove they have reached agreements with the National Treasury, over repayment of tax debts of approximately 12 million euro and thereby show themselves financially solvent and able to compete.

A spokesman for the LFP (the Liga de Fútbol Profesional) says that the club are not expected to meet the deadline which will result in their administrative relegation to the Segunda B.

Around a thousand fans protested at the Tax Office on Friday, calling for there to be a repayment agreement established with their club.
