The Foundation of the Holy See "Aid to the Church in Need" has launched two advertising campaigns under the slogan: "Christians have fled Mosul. They need your help urgently.

Father Werenfried, the founder, wanted "Aid to the Church in Need" to be the voice of the voiceless, the more suffering, the needy, the persecuted, and martyrs.
An exhibition was born from the need to sensitize the public and media on a reality often ignored: it is now estimated that more than 200 million Christians are suffering for their faith, with many who are suffering violence and even martyrdom. 150 million suffer other forms of oppression and discrimination and restriction of religious practice.
Through a tour of various countries, the exhibition aims to show this reality not so far away and yet unknown. In it we see how the Catholic Church reaches the smallest members of their own church and how faith and hope help them not kowtowing to the difficulties. As a missionary said, "despite everything, they do not wrinkle." The blood of martyrs is the seed of Christians.
