Spokesperson for the Orihuela PP, David Costa

The Partido Popular of Orihuela has criticised the government team this week, saying that as a result of them not paying the bill, numerous municipal vehicles have been left without insurance.

Spokesperson for the Orihuela PP, David Costa, claims that 12 vehicles being used by municipal brigades such as gardeners and municipal workers were left uninsured, as was a vehicle used by the Protección Civil, and a total of 15 vehicles used by the Policía Local.

It also later transpired that a minibus used to carry disabled passengers by the Asociación de Discapacitados comarcal, Adis Vega Baja, has been without insurance for the last 3 months. The association apparently noticed the anomaly but didn´t advise the municipal council, instead hiring a replacement minibus instead.
