A NEW RESOURCE FOR TRAFFIC LAWS

Traffic laws and the rules of the road may be a Little confusing to some, especially given that as foreigners we have to adapt what we have learnt and practiced for many years in our home country to our new homeland, adapting what we think may be true to the reality of the law in Spain, but now, thanks to a group of Guardia Civil Traffic officers in Torrevieja, there is now a wealth of information available to users of Facebook.

One of the founders of the “N332” page, Francisco, explained, “We are a group of Spanish Traffic Police Officers located in Torrevieja, who has launched a page on Facebook to inform European Drivers about all the information related to traffic matters. The articles are published in English because we think most of the foreigner drivers do not follow the traffic laws because they don´t know them”, and therefore the group wish to share their knowledge through the social networks, and the English press, whilst welcoming any question you have related to traffic.

Within just a couple of days of the launch of the page, they already clocked up nearly 2,000 followers, which Francisco explains “makes us work harder every day to inform them, about all changes taking place every day in traffic law”.

So if you have a burning question, or just want to know a little more about safe and legal driving in Spain, make sure you search for and “like” the page named “N332”, so called “in honour to the main road which goes through the coastline where we work every day”, Francisco concludes.
