AGAMED PLANTED 3000 MORE TREES IN TORREVIEJA

Torrevieja´s water supply company AGAMED launched an environmentally friendly campaign in which they have pledged to plant a tree for every one of their customers who switches from a paper bill to the electronic equivalent.

So far, more than 6,000 trees have been planted in the Lagunas de la Mata and Torrevieja, with many more hoped to be added this year.

On Saturday of this week, in conjunction with the Rotary Club, around 3,000 trees were planted in the area in a day to mark the next stage of repopulation, with lunch also provided to those who took part.

Subscribing to a paper-free bill is relatively easy for those on the internet, and you receive a monthly notification by email when your bill is ready at the virtual office. You can get more information on the website, agamed.es, or by visiting one of their offices.
