More than one million rounds of golf were played around the world last year with the "Expert Golf" iPhone app and this year it will once again be the essential companion for numerous golfers.

Just in time for the new season, the most popular golf app boasts a totally new and improved design. The look is fresher and the app is more user-friendly, making it even more fun to use.

The functions that make the app so successful have stayed the same: precise distance information via GPS, electronic score card with automatic calculation of the Stableford points, answers to all rules questions and tips for trouble shots.

Thanks to the systematic enhancement of the app, as well as excellent customer support and daily golf course database maintenance, "Expert Golf" has stayed in the App Store top ten for a number of years and is officially recommended by Apple.

The most recent update to Version 5.0 is now available from the iTunes App Store.

The much awaited La Siesta park in Torrevieja opened on Saturday, with many people attending the event to check out some of the leisure and pleasure facilities now available in this popular area of Torrevieja. The La Siesta park features all kinds of sports pitches, for football, basketball, hockey, and more, as well as the largest paved pump track in the world, according to the town hall. It's been a long time coming, but the La Siesta Skate Park is due to open this week with the inauguration set for Saturday 16 March at 11:00 a.m. The park contains many different facilities for different sports modalities, and there's seating around the entire area.
