Gas Price Dropped

The price of butane gas has dropped this week as the Ministry of Public Works announced a 1.69 euro Price drop. The maximum cost of a bottle of butano is now 14.12 euro after maintaining its price at the higher end of the scale for some time.

The retail price is reviewed every two months with March seeing the first reduction in a year, after the cost was capped by the government.

The new price represents a total saving of 3.38 euro and will be fixed until the third Tuesday in July when the price will be reviewed in preparation for autumn and winter.

The much awaited La Siesta park in Torrevieja opened on Saturday, with many people attending the event to check out some of the leisure and pleasure facilities now available in this popular area of Torrevieja. The La Siesta park features all kinds of sports pitches, for football, basketball, hockey, and more, as well as the largest paved pump track in the world, according to the town hall. It's been a long time coming, but the La Siesta Skate Park is due to open this week with the inauguration set for Saturday 16 March at 11:00 a.m. The park contains many different facilities for different sports modalities, and there's seating around the entire area.
