Netflix Launching in Spain

Internet streaming film and TV service Netflix will launch in Spain in October, although it will have a reduced catalogue compared to other countries.

Netflix CEO Reed Hastings said, “I think Spain is going to be one of our most successful countries,” continuing, “There is a very high penetration of broadband Internet, and people are used to e-commerce and have shown they are interested in our product.”

The service is expected to offer films and TV shows similar to those available on their platform in France and Germany, and at a similar cost, with access to original shows like Daredevil available for subscribers.

The much awaited La Siesta park in Torrevieja opened on Saturday, with many people attending the event to check out some of the leisure and pleasure facilities now available in this popular area of Torrevieja. The La Siesta park features all kinds of sports pitches, for football, basketball, hockey, and more, as well as the largest paved pump track in the world, according to the town hall. Torrevieja Pump Track Grand Opening
It's been a long time coming, but the La Siesta Skate Park is due to open this week with the inauguration set for Saturday 16 March at 11:00 a.m. The park contains many different facilities for different sports modalities, and there's seating around the entire area.
