The Cadena Sunrise Tenpin Bowling League reached it’s conclusion last Wednesday, and what an exciting final day it proved to be.
Going into the last round of matches, Sol Amigos (sponsored by Petra Honig Inmobiliaria) led by 2 points, ahead of Alley Gators, Fowl Play and GGs Pinbusters.
Maximum point victories for GGs Pinbusters, and Fowl Play (against Alley Gators), meant that Sol Amigos needed at least a draw to be sure of the championship, and they delivered in style, by also recording an 8-0 win.
Fowl Play and GGs Pinbusters leapfrogged Alley Gators, to finish 2nd and 3rd respectively, which was a cruel blow to AGs, who had led for the vast majority of the season. The season commenced way back in September last year, requiring all 12 teams to play each other 3 times.
