It was a wonderful lunchtime performance by dancers Luciana, Daniel and Isabella

It looks like being another successful summer for Raquel Pena and her amazing Flamenco Dance Troupe.

This iconic dancing star’s own performances have mesmerised U.S. Presidents and Britain’s royals over the years and now the amazing troupe of her current dancers, all trained and choreographed personally by Raquel Pena, can be seen performing three times a week at the Rebate Restaurant, and really should not be missed.

Believe me; the restaurant is exceedingly fortunate to have been chosen as a place of performance by Raquel Pena.

You can see their amazing shows on Wednesday and Sunday lunchtimes and on Friday evenings where their heel work, astonishingly controlled in rhythm, dynamics and sound, often race to tempos that seem to defy the threshold of audible speed

This really is a taste of the very best of authentic Spain.

The much awaited La Siesta park in Torrevieja opened on Saturday, with many people attending the event to check out some of the leisure and pleasure facilities now available in this popular area of Torrevieja. The La Siesta park features all kinds of sports pitches, for football, basketball, hockey, and more, as well as the largest paved pump track in the world, according to the town hall. Torrevieja Pump Track Grand Opening
It's been a long time coming, but the La Siesta Skate Park is due to open this week with the inauguration set for Saturday 16 March at 11:00 a.m. The park contains many different facilities for different sports modalities, and there's seating around the entire area.
