ORIHUELA COSTA’S FIRST OUTDOOR CHESS TOURNAMENT

On 18 July DTOC will organise a chess tournament starting at 10am through to 8pm in La Zenia Park. This will be the very first outdoor chess tournament held in the Orihuela Costa.

All residentsare welcome. Free beer for all, while stocks last.

To participate in the tournament you have to be an orihuela costa resident.

Deadline for entry is Monday 13 of July.

The much awaited La Siesta park in Torrevieja opened on Saturday, with many people attending the event to check out some of the leisure and pleasure facilities now available in this popular area of Torrevieja. The La Siesta park features all kinds of sports pitches, for football, basketball, hockey, and more, as well as the largest paved pump track in the world, according to the town hall. Torrevieja Pump Track Grand Opening
It's been a long time coming, but the La Siesta Skate Park is due to open this week with the inauguration set for Saturday 16 March at 11:00 a.m. The park contains many different facilities for different sports modalities, and there's seating around the entire area.
