NEW CHARITY SHOP TO OPEN

Paul Cunningham Nurses Charity is expanding their charity shop base by opening their fourth shop in Calle Espana 28, Almoradi on approximately 6th July.

The charity has taken the opportunity to bring the Nurses Charity into an area that will be completely new to them and trust that the people of Almoradi will be supportive in this adventure.

However, we are currently looking for volunteers to work in the shop between the hours of 10 a.m. to 2.00 p.m., six days a week. Should anyone be interested or require further information on volunteering, please contact Chris Rodley on 650695482.

The much awaited La Siesta park in Torrevieja opened on Saturday, with many people attending the event to check out some of the leisure and pleasure facilities now available in this popular area of Torrevieja. The La Siesta park features all kinds of sports pitches, for football, basketball, hockey, and more, as well as the largest paved pump track in the world, according to the town hall. Torrevieja Pump Track Grand Opening
It's been a long time coming, but the La Siesta Skate Park is due to open this week with the inauguration set for Saturday 16 March at 11:00 a.m. The park contains many different facilities for different sports modalities, and there's seating around the entire area.
