British Tourist Dies on the Costa Dorada

A 51 year old British tourist has died after drowning in the sea at the Tarragona beach of L’Ametlla de Mar.

The man is believed to have been camping with his family on the Costa Dorada when the tragedy happened on Monday afternoon.

Reports sate that the man was snorkelling when some people in his vicinity realised he wasn´t moving and so summonsed help.

Emergency services attended but could do nothing to revive the man. An autopsy is being carried out to confirm the cause of death.

It's been a long time coming, but the La Siesta Skate Park is due to open this week with the inauguration set for Saturday 16 March at 11:00 a.m. The park contains many different facilities for different sports modalities, and there's seating around the entire area.
