Orihuela Drugs Raid

In a collaborative operation between the National and Local Police of Orihuela, a cannabis club in the city has been shut down.

The operation saw teams of police officers swoop on the address on calle San Agustin and confiscate materials from inside.

Locals gathered to watch the activities as more than a dozen people were identified by the police and will be summonsed to testify.

The much awaited La Siesta park in Torrevieja opened on Saturday, with many people attending the event to check out some of the leisure and pleasure facilities now available in this popular area of Torrevieja. The La Siesta park features all kinds of sports pitches, for football, basketball, hockey, and more, as well as the largest paved pump track in the world, according to the town hall. Torrevieja Pump Track Grand Opening
It's been a long time coming, but the La Siesta Skate Park is due to open this week with the inauguration set for Saturday 16 March at 11:00 a.m. The park contains many different facilities for different sports modalities, and there's seating around the entire area.
