Driving Bikers Seriously Injured on Tuesday Posted on 30th March 2016 1 min read A motorcyclist became trapped under a car on Tuesday afternoon following a collision with the vehicle on the N-332 near the Camping La Marina holiday resort in La Marina on the coast of the Elche municipality. The incident occurred shortly after midday when the rider was thrown from the motorbike following a collision and became trapped by the lower limbs underneath the car. Fire fighters from Elche attended the scene and lifted the vehicle, allowing medical staff to take the biker to hospital suffering leg injuries but in a conscious state. Later that night, medics in the Murcia region attended another motorcyclist who had been injured, this time in the Agridulce urbanisation area on the A-7 motorway. This incident occurred at around 22:50 when calls were received by the emergency coordination centre of a motorcyclist heading in the Almería direction having collided with the crash barrier and being thrown from the vehicle. After emergency medics had stabilised the man at the scene he was taken to the Virgen de la Arrixaca hospital in a serious condition.
