Head Found in Recycling Plant Waste

The head of a man described as being in his 40´s and having red hair has been found in a recycling plant in Elche.

The gruesome discovery was made on Wednesday night when workers were moving items at the plant which recycles waste from various municipalities around the area.

The area where the head was located receives waste from Aspe Monóvar, Hondón de los Frailes and Torrevieja, although the origin of the head is as of yet unknown.

The local police were the first to attend the scene and then handed over the investigation to their National colleagues who created a perimeter in order to search for more clues.
