Phelan hatches a plan to frame Seb for murder in Thursday’s Corrie

Seb has been thrown out by Phelan, so Faye offers him a bed at Number 4, on the condition that he changes his statement about Anna. Seb is furious and tells Faye that he won’t be blackmailed and Gary can stuff his job.

Returning to Phelan, Seb tells him that he made a terrible mistake and won’t let him down again. Phelan agrees to let bygones be bygones and suggests they have a drink.

After plying Seb with whisky, Phelan shows him his gun. Seb picks up the gun and admires it. Satisfied that Seb’s fingerprints are all over the gun, Phelan puts it away, pleased with himself.

Meanwhile, Steve calls in the Bistro and hands Michelle a cheque for £10,000, Robert rails at her for accepting hand-outs from her ex, but when Michelle forces him to accept they need the cash, Robert later apologises to Steve and thanks him for the money. Steve assures Tracy that he no longer has feelings for Michelle.

Elsewhere, Luke is formally charged in court, but back at home, his gaze falls on the little wire house Sophie found. He stares at it, thoughtful.

Also today, Tyrone begs Sinead to give Chesney another chance. Chesney plans to call the register office and cancel the wedding, resigned to the fact Sinead isn’t coming back.

Finally, Toyah is uneasy to realise how well Peter and Carla get on, while the police visit Eileen to ask her about Todd disappearing with Summer and Eileen realises Geraldine has called them in.
