Edu to Boost the CD Torrevieja Team’s Attack

CD Torrevieja has finalised the deal to incorporate Eduardo José Julián Alarcón (Crevillente, 1995) to the club, after both parties reached an agreement. Edu can play in several positions including second striker, centre midfield, right midfield and even left midfield. His versatility, great technique and the fact that the opposition’s goal is always at the forefront of his individual strategy makes him stand out.

The 23-year-old originally from Crevillente trained in the junior teams of Elche CF but joins CD Torrevieja from 3º Division Crevillente Deportivo where he was the team’s Captain since joining them last season from FB Redován CF after Jornada 25, where he had spent a season and a half playing some of his best football. Prior to this, he had also spent two seasons with 3º Division Crevillente Deportivo.

The much awaited La Siesta park in Torrevieja opened on Saturday, with many people attending the event to check out some of the leisure and pleasure facilities now available in this popular area of Torrevieja. The La Siesta park features all kinds of sports pitches, for football, basketball, hockey, and more, as well as the largest paved pump track in the world, according to the town hall. Torrevieja Pump Track Grand Opening
It's been a long time coming, but the La Siesta Skate Park is due to open this week with the inauguration set for Saturday 16 March at 11:00 a.m. The park contains many different facilities for different sports modalities, and there's seating around the entire area.
