Raúl spearheads the team with quality and speed

Football club CD Torrevieja has finalised a deal to sign up Raúl Romero Jiménez (Elche, 1997), who will join the Club for the new season. Rulo can play in any of the attacking positions. His best qualities are his speed, his dribbling and his ball-kicking skills.

The Elche-born player joins the Torrevieja club from UD Ilicitana, where last season he was one of the star players in green and white and most important members of the team. He comes with the backing of coach Manu Sánchez, who has spent the last two seasons training him.

The much awaited La Siesta park in Torrevieja opened on Saturday, with many people attending the event to check out some of the leisure and pleasure facilities now available in this popular area of Torrevieja. The La Siesta park features all kinds of sports pitches, for football, basketball, hockey, and more, as well as the largest paved pump track in the world, according to the town hall. Torrevieja Pump Track Grand Opening
It's been a long time coming, but the La Siesta Skate Park is due to open this week with the inauguration set for Saturday 16 March at 11:00 a.m. The park contains many different facilities for different sports modalities, and there's seating around the entire area.
