Medical staff from the Cruz Roja have met a boat carrying twelve immigrants which landed at Cala del Moro in Torrevieja on Tuesday.

The Guardia Civil report that the twelve are all male and of legal age, all saying that they are from Algeria.

A local resident alerted the Guardia Civil at around 10:30 of the boat, with both the Guardia Civil and border patrol teams being sent to assist in the arrival.

This is the fifth boat which has arrived off the Alicante cost since Sunday, with arrivals intercepted at Orihuela, Pilar de la Horadada, Calpe, and Benidorm, amongst other sightings and landings.
