The Valencia tourism department has increased coverage for the Easter period, by opening new temporary centres across the region, and ensuring the existing Tourist Information Centres are open at key times during the holiday.

This Easter, there are 26 additional, albeit temporary, tourist information offices, with 13 of them in the Alicante province, including in Torrevieja.

The new information points are located in the municipalities of Altea, Callosa d’En Sarrià, Calp (with two information points), Dénia, Elx (with two offices), Finestrat (two information points) , Santa Pola Gran Alacant, Teulada-Moraira, Xàbia and Torrevieja.

In addition, the existing offices will remain open throughout the holiday season, from Thursday through to Easter Monday in most cases.

Many shops will also be open throughout the holiday, as laws prevent them from opening on Sundays and fiestas don´t apply at key times of touristic value, such as Easter and the summer period.
