The councillor for NGOs and Volunteering of the Torrevieja Council, Concha Sala, together with the president of the ASIMEPP Torrevieja association, Maite Miralles, has presented the activities that will take place to commemorate the day of Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, to be held on May 12. The activities will begin on Monday, May 10, and end on Saturday, May 15, with the most relevant day being Wednesday 12, Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome Day, where the reading of the manifesto will take place.

The Ministry of Health plans to begin vaccinating people between the ages of 69 and 66 (born between 1952 and 1955, included) from Monday. The Guardia Civil has detained four people in Alicante and Callosa d’en Sarrià, who were allegedly dedicated to sending large quantities of drugs, by parcel, worldwide. Officers intercepted a package at Alicante-Elche airport. The alleged perpetrators, of British and Argentine nationality, operated from homes in Callosa d’en Sarrià and Altea. Three of the four have been remanded in custody.
