“PITT” STOP FOR BRAD IN LOS MONTESINOS? BY ANDREW ATKINSON reporting from Los Montesinos BRAD Pitt could yet make Alicante based sleepy town Los Montesinos a stopping-off point in the star actor's hectic life schedule - along with Angelina Jolie. Pitt was allegedly photographed in the Vega Baja town of Los Montesinos two years ago, having arrived in Spain by private jet at Murcia, San Javier airport. Sceptics find it hard to believe that the star-struck couple would settle down in Los Montesinos - but they have an affection for Spain - having also visited Madrid and Casares in recent times. Pitt was seen dining with daughters Zahara and Shiloh in Madrid, and Brad and Angelina purchased Spanish artwork from an art Gallery in Casares, following a visit in the province of Malaga, Andalusia, purchashing two paintings, painted on glass, one a 16th Century-style female portrait of Isabella. Los Montesinos, near to Guardamar, La Mata and Torrevieja - amongst other resorts - has similar scenic views as Casares Costa - a beach side strip of residential urbanisations, bars and restaurants. It is said that Pitt and Jolie are seeking a quiet, relaxing place - such as Los Montesinos - where they were reportedly seen with bodyguards in tow, after driving the short distance from Murcia, to view a huge property worth 1 million plus euros. Photos of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie and their six children were taken in Los Montesinos square, near to the Church, featuring a picturesque bell-tower, when they were in town on vacation - allegedly seeking a property. Pitt and Jolie reportedly took time looking around Los Montesinos, having arrived in two Mercedes S-class cars along with bodyguards. And locals in Los Montesinos have revealed that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have visited on more than one occasion. Pitt starred in the film 'The Councilor' - a crime movie based around drug importers in Spain. And Pitt, who shot scenes filming in Monte Pego, reportedly celebrated a colleagues birthday in Fortuna, Murcia, having been looking at property. Pitt and his family are friends with retired football icon David Beckham and his wife Victoria and their four children, Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz and Harper. Pitt has told the media that he wanted the former England, Manchester United and Real Madrid star to coach his children football. Beckham was offered to give Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's children Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh and twins Knox and Vivienne personal lessons. And Beckham who played for Preston North End in 1995, while on loan at Deepdale from Manchester United, aged 19, has said that he would like Pitt to play his character, if a film of his career is made. As Author of the book: 'David Beckham-In at the Deep End', Preston-born Andrew Atkinson, who has featured on VivaTVs 'Let's Talk Show' said: "If Brad Pitt does purchase a property in Los Montesinos, and invites David Beckham over, I will gladly speak to him about Becks' days at North End. "David Beckham has always remembered his roots in the game, and his short 'apprenticeship' at Preston North End as a teenager in the old third division." Andrew added: "Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie and their family would be a welcome addition to the Vega Baja and Los Montesinos - it would be a perfect 'Pitt-stop' in their hectic life schedule."
