Over 160 people turned out in all their finery, to enjoy the HAH Dinner and Dance at the Principe de Asturias in Santiago de la Ribera on Saturday 22nd March.
A five course meal was enjoyed along with wine etc., and the general consensus of opinion was ‘terrific night and great value for money’ After the meal, the fantastic Mr Soul, Richie Alexander entertained, and soon had most people up on the dance floor.
Celia Ryan, who organised the event for HAH said “the atmosphere was brilliant, the ladies looked so glamorous in their finery, and the men didn’t look too bad either! This is a new Spanish venue for HAH, and we were so impressed with everything, that we will be holding another ball here later in the year.
In the interval, we ran with our ever popular tombola, and at the end of the evening, 963€ was raised for HAH” She thanked everyone for coming, all the volunteers who helped and the restaurant.
A great cheer went up when she announced that there would be another ball, in November. There was a round of applause for Celia for the hard work she had put into organising the ball, very well done Celia.
An events list will follow shortly, and tickets will be on sale soon for Rocking in Roda on June 8th and The Orbi Playa Big band at the end of July. Both these events are always sell out, so watch this space for further details.
