Orihuela based businessman Thomas Herteux, the man behind such operations as the Orihuela Costa´s chiringuitos, the Fresco fast food chain and luxury restaurant The Glass House, has been nominated for the prestigious award of young business person of the year.
The JOVEMPA organization, the Federation of Young Entrepreneurs of the Province of Alicante, is behind the awards, the winner of which will be announced in Alicante on the 17th of October, in association with the provincial government.
In the ceremony, the twentieth time it has taken place, 14 nominations were shortlisted down to 7 finalists, each one from a different area in the province, and from very different business backgrounds, including new technologies and internet marketing, hospitality, renewable energy, robotics, real estate, supplies and software development.
