When local Spanish residents in La Siesta learned that Age Concern gave Spanish Lessons, they asked if we would consider giving English Lessons.

We decided to give it a try, and the photo above shows the first students with their teacher Rita Naughton. If you have any Spanish friends or any other nationality

La Siesta Park and Torrevieja Pump Track Walk Around
The much awaited La Siesta park in Torrevieja opened on Saturday, with many people attending the event to check out some of the leisure and pleasure facilities now available in this popular area of Torrevieja. The La Siesta park features all kinds of sports pitches, for football, basketball, hockey, and more, as well as the largest paved pump track in the world, according to the town hall. Torrevieja Pump Track Grand Opening
It's been a long time coming, but the La Siesta Skate Park is due to open this week with the inauguration set for Saturday 16 March at 11:00 a.m. The park contains many different facilities for different sports modalities, and there's seating around the entire area.
