Manchester, Mykonos and Lisbon are experiencing minor flight delays due to visibility issues. Plus, today is expected to be one of the busiest days of the year, with well over 35,000 flights across Europe (current record 35,937 on 30 June).

If you are flying or meeting people, keep an eye on the flights with the airlines.

The roads too are expected to be busy as the special “operation return” is in place until Sunday (Sunday is expected to be the busiest day).

Saturday will also be busy heading north on the coastal motorway as many French tourists return home.

The much awaited La Siesta park in Torrevieja opened on Saturday, with many people attending the event to check out some of the leisure and pleasure facilities now available in this popular area of Torrevieja. The La Siesta park features all kinds of sports pitches, for football, basketball, hockey, and more, as well as the largest paved pump track in the world, according to the town hall. Torrevieja Pump Track Grand Opening
It's been a long time coming, but the La Siesta Skate Park is due to open this week with the inauguration set for Saturday 16 March at 11:00 a.m. The park contains many different facilities for different sports modalities, and there's seating around the entire area.
