CMO Becoming Vaccination Centre

The CMO leisure centre in Torrevieja, the municipal building located next door to the Carrefour supermarket, is to me turned into a mass vaccination centre for the next stage in the battle against Covid.

An emergency contract was awarded by the town hall to install the required fittings in the centre to allow the vaccinations to commence from Tuesday, 6 April.

Some 4,000 doses are destined to be shot in arms of the next group of people called forward to receive their jab.

The much awaited La Siesta park in Torrevieja opened on Saturday, with many people attending the event to check out some of the leisure and pleasure facilities now available in this popular area of Torrevieja. The La Siesta park features all kinds of sports pitches, for football, basketball, hockey, and more, as well as the largest paved pump track in the world, according to the town hall. Torrevieja Pump Track Grand Opening
It's been a long time coming, but the La Siesta Skate Park is due to open this week with the inauguration set for Saturday 16 March at 11:00 a.m. The park contains many different facilities for different sports modalities, and there's seating around the entire area.
