The Summer Carnival Parade will start take place in Torrevieja on Saturday evening, 13 August.

The carnival-like parade will start at 20:30 from the Cultural Center Virgen del Carmen and will travel along calle Ramón Gallud to Plaza de la Constitution.

One of the highlights of the parade will be the appearance of representatives from the Moors and Christians from Crevillente and Alicante.

The much awaited La Siesta park in Torrevieja opened on Saturday, with many people attending the event to check out some of the leisure and pleasure facilities now available in this popular area of Torrevieja. The La Siesta park features all kinds of sports pitches, for football, basketball, hockey, and more, as well as the largest paved pump track in the world, according to the town hall. Torrevieja Pump Track Grand Opening
It's been a long time coming, but the La Siesta Skate Park is due to open this week with the inauguration set for Saturday 16 March at 11:00 a.m. The park contains many different facilities for different sports modalities, and there's seating around the entire area.
