The Ministry of Universal Health and Public Health has reported a total of 1,146 new cases of coronavirus confirmed by PCR test or through antigen tests since the last update. The new cases by province are 192 in Castellón (189,971 in total), 306 in Alicante (525,449 in total) and 648 in Valencia (829,067 in total).
Of these, 586 are from people over 60 years of age. By provinces: 98 from Castellón, 192 from Alicante and 296 from Valencia.
Valencian hospitals currently have 321 people admitted for COVID-19, 20 of them in the ICU: 43 in the province of Castellón, 3 in the ICU; 99 in the province of Alicante, 7 of them in the ICU, and 179 in the province of Valencia, 10 in the ICU.
20 coronavirus deaths have been reported since the last update, all with a death date in the last 7 days. They are 6 women, between 40 and 88 years old, and 14 men, between 67 and 95 years old. The total number of deaths since the start of the pandemic amounts to 10,000: 1,181 in the province of Castellón, 3,819 in Alicante and 5,000 in Valencia.
