The Department of International Residents in Torrevieja town hall has organised a very special celebration to recognise Europe Day 2023, with a special gala at the International Auditorium that will feature a performance by Azúcar Moreno, who participated in Eurovision in 1990 with the song “Bandido”, achieving a meritorious 5th position.

The gala, which will be held on May 9 at 7:30 p.m., will feature many surprises that will make the public vibrate. Tickets are free with invitation, and can be reserved and downloaded from the portal culturatorrevieja.com.

If getting to the auditorium is a concern, you don’t have to worry too much, because the town hall will also provide a free bus service from the Torrevieja interchange to the International Auditorium, with the first departure at 6:00 p.m. and the last at 6:30 p.m.

Likewise, on May 6, one day before the celebration of Europe Day, from 9:45 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., there will be a Petanque tournament on the slopes of the Rocajuna urbanisation, “Europe Tournament”, sponsored by the EmbassyMyHome company together with the Torrevieja Council and with the participation of the following teams: Spain, United Kingdom, Sweden, France, Belgium and Rest of Europe. Spain, winner of the Tournament in the last edition of 2022, will try to defend the title.
