Sunday, June 18, the I Ciudad de Torrevieja School Triathlon will be held.
The Department of Sports of the Torrevieja City Council together with the Triathlon Club organise the first Torrevieja School Triathlon.
It is a federated TRIATHLON event (Swimming – Cycling – Running) where we anticipate a large participation of a multitude of triathletes from the entire province of Alicante.

The much awaited La Siesta park in Torrevieja opened on Saturday, with many people attending the event to check out some of the leisure and pleasure facilities now available in this popular area of Torrevieja. The La Siesta park features all kinds of sports pitches, for football, basketball, hockey, and more, as well as the largest paved pump track in the world, according to the town hall. Torrevieja Pump Track Grand Opening
It's been a long time coming, but the La Siesta Skate Park is due to open this week with the inauguration set for Saturday 16 March at 11:00 a.m. The park contains many different facilities for different sports modalities, and there's seating around the entire area.
