All Brits To Get Covid Vaccine In The Region

The Generalitat Valenciana will vaccinate all British residents in Alicante even if they are not registered on the Social Security system.
You MUST have a SIP card in order to be included on the list. If you don’t have the “permanent” plastic SIP card you can still get the vaccine with the temporary SIP card. You can get a temporary SIP card by taking either the EHIC (European Health Insurance) or GHIC (Global Health Insurance Card) to the medical centre along with your passport.
If you have changed your mobile phone number and email recently, make sure you update your contact information on the official website below. The mobile number MUST be Spanish and you can´t use the same one as someone else that´s registered there. Your health centre will contact you regarding your vaccination appointment.
You will need to enter your SIP number, date of when your SIP card was issued (if applicable) and date of birth. Once you validate the information, it will allow you to enter your contact details (mobile, house phone and email).

The much awaited La Siesta park in Torrevieja opened on Saturday, with many people attending the event to check out some of the leisure and pleasure facilities now available in this popular area of Torrevieja. The La Siesta park features all kinds of sports pitches, for football, basketball, hockey, and more, as well as the largest paved pump track in the world, according to the town hall. It's been a long time coming, but the La Siesta Skate Park is due to open this week with the inauguration set for Saturday 16 March at 11:00 a.m. The park contains many different facilities for different sports modalities, and there's seating around the entire area.
