Last week saw Torry manager Galiani complete 2 more signings, with a promise of more to come. A prolific scoring striker is high of the agenda, but they are hard to come by, and the search continues.
Two left sided players, both from Mucian based clubs have been recruited, in time for the next batch of pre season friendlies. Experienced full back, 33 year old Eddy, arrives from div 2b side La Hoya Lorca, who coincidently are pencilled in as friendly opponents in the near future. Joining from Preferente side Pulpino, is 24 year old winger Sele.
Although some of the 20 groups in div 3 have already released season 14/15 fixtures, the Valencian region (Torry’s group) should be available soon. Season tickets are on sale from the Torry Army office, and at Vicente Garcia Stadium on Weds evenings. At 125 euros for covered stand, and only 90 euros for general ground, they are excellent value.
Torry’s next friendly is at the Nelson Mandela Stadium, on Wednesday 6 August, ko 7.30 pm, against Preferente side Cox. Although entry is free, those who attend are requested to purchase raffle tickets to help support club funds. Last week’s postponed fixture against Cartagena, should be rearranged at a later date.
