The local police in Elche are celebrating, having taken delivery of 14 new motorbikes.
Five of the bikes are being assigned to the “urban mobility” section, which deals with such matters as parking and can be frequently seen not only in the city but along the coastal areas during busy times, ensuring the roads are kept clear for the safe passage of traffic.
The cost of the investment by the town hall has been 75,000 euro and the government team is keen to point out that during this administrative term they have acquired 13 cars, 30 motorbikes, 14 bicycles and a boat for the police.
