The basic program of Cambiemos Orihuela, ratified by assembly, will be published on its website the week of April 27. Cambiemos Orihuela opens its party headquarters to residents of Orihuela on Calle Santa Justa.
The basic program of Cambiemos Orihuela will be available at cambiemosorihuela.org by the last week of April. Since the formation of Cambiemos Orihuela with the United Left and the Greens on 21 January, the program has been developed in on-going commissions and assemblies. It defines our political commitment to the people of Orihuela and is an evolving document that recognizes the needs and conditions of our city, and permits citizen involvement.
While this is the framework for the much broader program, “the documents, as Ester Romero, number four on the list of candidates and representative from the coast, states, “are the result of a participatory democracy. It has never been our intention to produce a rigid, unrealistic program behind closed doors without acknowledging and including ideas and proposals from citizens.”
In other events, last Friday, 17 April, we celebrated the inauguration of our party headquarters located on Calle Santa Justa 5, just steps from City Hall. This space is dedicated to sharing the project with the public as well as to the daily operations of the coalition for the upcoming elections in May.
On 27 April, in the Lonja in Orihuela, we will celebrate the presentation of candidates.
