Popular fantasy TV show Game of Thrones will be returning to Spain to film scenes for its sixth series shortly.
Game of Thrones first began shooting in Spain with Season 5, using the Royal Alcazar in Seville as the Water Gardens of Dorne, and the Piaza de Toros in Osuna as the Meereen fighting pit. However, the show is not expected to return to location for series 6, but the action is expected to be taking place in the cities of Girona and Peñíscola.
