An English lady, from Rojales, found a wallet containing some money and documents. She decided to take it to the Police Station, and when she arrived to the office, an old English man was reporting losing his wallet, the wallet the lady was delivering there. What a lucky man!
National police officers have broken up an illegal gun dealing network that was operating out of Marina Baja, Alicante. They robbed several properties in Benidorm, Alfaz del Pi, and some in the Vega Baja.
Phone Company fraudsters arrested. The company use the name and banking details of different people, some of whom were dead, to take out the contracts, so they could sell on the routers, tablets and mobile phones.
BE AWARE.
Beware hoax calls. Vega Baja town halls, have warned residents to beware of phone calls from people pretending to be from social services departments.
A man from a Village in the Vega Baja, came to my gate for advice. Apparently one of his neighbours had been spraying some of his plants and trees with weed killer. I said to him that if he was sure about this he must tell to the Local Police. The Police will investigate the case.
The famous 50 Euros Dutch man, who used to con people in La Zenia area, is still around. He was seen at Dolores market last week asking for money again. Just say no, please, or report him to the nearest police station. It is very interesting to stand up and speak, or sit down and listen, but still more important is to think before you ink, plan with common sense and sensibility, to take action when ready, and don’t leave for tomorrow what you can do today.
