Mayor Meets New Hospital Director

In an informal meeting this week, the mayor of Torrevieja, José Manuel Dolon, met with the new Managing Director of the University Hospital of Torrevieja, Eva Baró, and the medical director of Primary Care, Hipólito Caro.

The purpose of the meeting was for the mayor to meet the new management team of the hospital, after Dr. Baró replaced Dr. José Antonio Velasco.

During the relaxed meeting the team discussed various topics, such as the recruitment of medical personnel and the problems expected in the future as many of the current medical staff are heading towards retirement age.
