If you are planning to go to Torrevieja’s Friday market, you need to be aware of a change to the parking arrangements.
As the town hall has arranged for concerts to take place this summer at the Parque Antonio Soria, the normal car parking area for the Friday market has been closed until mid-August.
To solve this problem for market goers, another parking area has been set up at the Aquopolis Torrevieja site, which can be accessed through the family water park for the summer off Avenida Monge Bielsa, in front of the Nelson Mandela multi-purpose soccer field.
This change will no doubt cause a lot of confusion for market visitors at first, so you might want to allow extra time for your visit to the Friday market.
