In preparation for Christmas in Torrevieja, the Councillor for Commerce in Torrevieja, Rosario Martínez Chazarra, has announced that the application period for businesses that want to participate in the XX Christmas Window Dressing Contest 2023 will be open until December 13, inclusive.
All small and medium-sized businesses in the municipality of Torrevieja that decorate a window or façade with Christmas motifs can participate for the 5,000 euro worth of prizes.

The call for this competition is intended to encourage investments by Torrevieja merchants in the aesthetics and image of their establishments and, therefore, the improvement of the visual quality of them and Torrevieja at Christmas.
Rosario Martínez has reported that during the week of December 12 the jury’s decision will be made, which will be announced before Christmas.
The prizes, which total 5,000 euros, will consist of:
First prize of 1,000 Euro.
Second prize of 800 Euro.
Third prize 500 Euro.
Nine second prizes of 300 Euro.
As a mandatory requirement to be able to participate, you must be up to date with your tax obligations to Social Security and AEAT, as well as with Torrevieja Council.
The Commercial Council encourages all Torrevieja establishments to participate in this Christmas competition that will boost local commerce in these very difficult times.
