This week, the II “Ciudad de Torrevieja” Football World Cup, under the motto Integration through Sports, will be held in the Torrevieja Sports City facilities.
Following the group draw last weekend, the action will take place on Saturday and Sunday, March 16 and 17.
Teams made up of players from a total of 10 countries will participate in this edition: Spain, Paraguay, Colombia, Ecuador, Cape Verde, Romania, Ukraine, Argentina, Brazil and Uruguay
The qualifying matches will be held on Saturday, March 16, from 9:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., and on Sunday, March 17, the finals will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and, later, the presentation of trophies.
The tournament will also feature a Mundialito, played in the 7-a-side football format, and the presence of several “folclóricos” folk groups from these countries, who will perform during breaks, as well as the presence of several local associations that will support their teams at all times.
