Although many people will no doubt attend the Orihuela Costa St Patrick’s Day celebrations at the weekend, in Torevieja a more traditional recognition of the day will take place on Monday.
The day will start with a bilingual mass at 10:00, after which the celebration will continue in the main square with traditional music and Irish dancing.
Everyone is welcome to be Irish for the day in Torevieja on 17 March.
