Tomorrow, Sunday March 15th, Cabo Roig will host the Saint Patrick’s Day parade, which is already one of the most prominent events on the Orihuela Costa’s holiday calendar.
Manuel Mestre, the Councillor for Coast and International Residents, and members of the Saint Patrick’s Day Parade Cabo Roig association, the group in charge of organising the event with help from the Coast and Festivities departments, led by Rocío Ortuño, have verified this.
With an estimated attendance of 30,000 people, the event has become a landmark in Orihuela Costa and is now one of the best St. Patrick’s Day parades in Spain and Europe.
The procession will start at 3 p.m. on Calle Mar and will have about 50 groups from different countries, showing how open, welcoming, and diverse the coast is. Member of Parliament Peter Roche will be the Grand Marshal of this year’s event, which will have many well-known people.

There will be a parade throughout Cabo Roig’s streets during the day. It will be full of music, colour, and fun, with biker groups, bagpipes, stilt walkers, floats, vintage cars, and dances. The event is meant to be fun for neighbours, residents, and visitors of all ages.
In this sense, Mestre has emphasised how important this celebration is for both tourists and the economy, as it is an event that helps the Orihuela Costa become more well-known and lively.
The councillor also talked about the cultural integration aspect of this event, saying that it shows how people from different cultures and nationalities can live together peacefully on the Orihuela coast. These deep roots make the municipality’s life richer.

Everything suggests that the festival will be a huge success again, solidifying its place as one of the most important events in the Orihuela Costa holiday calendar.
