The Crevillente Department of Animal Welfare has announced the fourth edition of the Adoption Fair, which is set to take place in Crevillent on Saturday, May 23rd. The event will be hosted at the Plaza de la Comunidad Valenciana, running from 17:00 until 22:00.
David Amorós Candela, the councillor responsible for the department, confirmed that this year’s fair will feature various activities designed to engage the public. Highlights of the schedule include an adoption parade and a special demonstration by the Canine Unit of the Crevillent Local Police. Families attending with children can also enjoy face painting, while an educational talk aimed at raising awareness about animal welfare will also be held.
The event is being organised in collaboration with the animal shelters “Pels Pèls” and “Patas Sin Fronteras”. Both the councillor and representatives from the charities have extended an invitation to all residents of Crevillent to attend. They emphasised that the fair is a vital opportunity to support animals in need and provide them with a chance to find a new home.
