Returning home turned into a nightmare for a family in the district of La Hoya, Elche, when they discovered that the locks on their property had been changed and the interior completely ransacked. The victims found that 4,000 euro, tools and other valuable items had been stolen from their home. To make matters worse, their family dog was left injured after being beaten by the intruders.
While Local Police officers were inspecting the property, a car arrived on the plot. The two occupants inside claimed to be the real owners of the house. However, evidence gathered at the scene alongside documentation provided by the victims quickly allowed officers to establish the truth.
Police arrested the two men as alleged perpetrators of burglary with force. Officers successfully recovered the keys to one of the victim’s vehicles along with other stolen belongings.
