The Spanish Directorate General of Traffic (DGT) has updated its comprehensive list of speed cameras and speed enforcement zones across the province of Alicante. The official document, updated on 3rd August 2026, contains 68 active entries: 35 fixed speed camera locations, 30 designated mobile speed camera zones, and three average speed camera zones. Alicante currently ranks as the third province in Spain with the highest number of speed camera locations and zones listed in the national report, behind only Madrid and Valencia.
Regarding enforcement on specific roadways in the province, the N-332 motorway accounts for the highest number of speed enforcement records in the Alicante region, with a total of 25 sites. These consist of 17 fixed speed camera locations and eight designated mobile speed camera zones. The A-70 holds the second highest number of records, with six fixed speed camera locations positioned at kilometres 6.308, 6.494, 8.375, 8.629, 22.5, and 27.39. Across all 68 records in the province, 51.5% are fixed speed cameras, 44.1% are mobile speed camera zones, and 4.4% are average speed camera zones.

This official report records camera locations and designated enforcement zones rather than the total number of fines issued. The inclusion of roughly 30 mobile speed camera zones—where the Guardia Civil can temporarily set up monitoring equipment—does not mean 30 separate mobile devices are active at the same time. Instead, the DGT report identifies specific stretch intervals along key routes where mobile controls are regularly deployed.
